Our specialized AIF investment company, Görlich GmbH & Co. 1. BioTech KG, participated in the Series C financing round as the lead investor, currently holding a 30 million euro stake in 4TEEN4 Pharmaceuticals GmbH.

The target company of our biotech investment fund, 4TEEN4 Pharmaceuticals GmbH (HRB 10555 NP), was founded in 2013 and is exclusively focused on developing a biomarker to detect a clinical condition leading to shock (and death) (diagnosis of the DPP3 enzyme) and an antibody for treatment. These products from 4TEEN4 have the potential to become revolutionary blockbuster drugs on the global medical market.
Görlich GmbH & Co. 1. BioTech KG is an approved investor and has already committed 30 million EUR, based on a pre-money valuation of 100 million EUR. Our investment limited partnership offers semi-professional investors the opportunity to invest starting at 200,000 EUR.
The full amount of each investor’s contribution will be transferred to 4TEEN4. The limited partnership’s operating expenses—in particular those required by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and those related to day-to-day business operations—will be financed from the contributions of the general partner (Dr. Görlich GmbH International). The general partner has already paid the initial contribution of 100,000 EUR and may increase it as needed. There are no additional contribution obligations for investors.
Once the investors have recouped double their initial investment from the successful commercialization of 4TEEN4 and its patents, before personal income tax is due, the investors are left with an additional 80% of the proceeds. The founding partners receive the remaining 20% as compensation.
The Görlich Group has already invested in 4TEEN4 through its family office and has once again increased its stake in the company through the fund in this round of financing.
